Founded in Germany during 1993 Lorentz has pioneered, innovated and excelled in the engineering and manufacturing of solar powered water pumping. Lorentz design, develop and manufacture the widest range of solar pumps in the world. Design is in-house with a specialised team that have been working in solar pumping for 20 years. Manufacturing is done in our their factories around the world to keep up our high quality standards and intensive 100% functional test schedule.

Lorentz products are built for off-grid, rural and often hostile environments. This means they design and build products that are efficient, reliable and simple to service if anything should ever go wrong.

Lorentz solar pumps serve three main application areas, Drinking Water for people and livestock, Irrigation of crops, from smallholdings to large commercial farms and for swimming pool circulation/filtration which we call Responsible Leisure.

Lorentz also design and manufacture solar tracking systems which improve the water yield from solar pump systems and maximize return on investment for grid tie systems.

PS Centrifugal Solar Pump Systems

Lorentz PS centrifugal pumps are high quality products designed for higher flow drinking water supply, livestock watering, pond management and irrigation applications. PS centrifugal pumps provide large volumes of water economically, without pollution, anywhere.

The Lorentz PS range of DC powered centrifugal pumps have been designed specifically to pump larger volumes of water efficiently using solar power. These highly efficient pumps can achieve flow rates of 79 m3/hour.

Each system consists of a pump, pump motor and a controller. This modular concept keeps all electronics above ground providing, simple servicing, ease of access and a low cost of ownership.
